Winter quoting accuracy
Our winters here run cold enough that frozen tracks and stiff torsion springs are a normal late-year call, and that's also when a quote given without seeing the door tends to be wrong - cold metal behaves differently, and a spring that looks fine in July can be the actual problem in January. If a repair is going to cost close to a replacement, we'll tell you that up front instead of doing the smaller job twice.

Do you work on older doors?

Why does winter change the quote?
